These are great little blades, great materials and ergonomics and at the price they are a real bargain.
I like the size and shape they are easy to carry and they don't get in the way when you have to reach for something in your pocket.
Would I recommend them? You bet!
I decided to try this knife, to see if I could reduce that size by a bit more. You can see it’s size in the pictures. It’s definitely on the “small” side. The knife seems well made, with quality materials. The blade is a sturdy-feeling thickness, with a nicely buffed finish. The tanto, drop tip blade penetrates well, but is not as easy to slice with as a curved, drop-tip. This knife is truly “razor sharp” out of the box. Be careful! The handle has a textured grip that is easy to hold. I found the blade a little hard to open with one hand, because the knife is so short (it’s hard to hold the handle and also catch the knob with your thumb). I like the red color (easy to see when you set it down (or drop it) in the environment. The clip is very strong, but I prefer knives without clips when working inside an animal (easier to clean up afterwards.). The clip is supposed to be removable, but I couldn’t get the tiny screws loose without stripping the heads.
My main criticism for using the knife for hunting is the length of its blade. It’s about an inch too short when trying to reach up into certain cavities, etc. when field dressing game. I needed to hold the knife handle between my fingers and thumb a couple times to get the extra extension needed. That’s not ideal for retaining control and avoiding a cut, especially if your working by feel inside a carcass.
Overall, it’s a very nice pocket knife, but a bit too short to be useful as a primary blade when hunting. I like mine a lot. I think it’s worth the price and recommend it as a daily carry option.

Out of the box first impressions:
-small
-lightweight
-nice color
-cool blade shape
- G10 handles aren't bad (not as slippery as most)
When I started playing with the knife I noticed it was a little stiff to open which is typical with a lot of knives. After an hour of flipping it open and closing it the action is a lot smoother but also noticed the lock bar is rather small and stiff as well. The size of the lock bar is understandable because it's a small knife and fat ham people usually buys bigger knives but it will loosen up over time. I could of spent time tuning it out of the box but I wanted to do a review of the product how it came to me.
You see how the knives sticks up past the pummel? I was confused about that at first then I realized it's to be used as "wave" deployment. If you pull it out of your pocket and drag it against the crease of your pocket, the jumping on that part catches and deploys the blade. I have another knife from cold steel that does the same thing. The pocket clip is stiff as well and have a little trouble getting it to clip on my jeans but once again, it will loosen up over time
The knife came pretty sharp out of the box but everyone has there definition of sharp. Not many people want hair shaving capabilities. I can't comment on the blade steel because I never heard of it but the finish on the blade is nice.
Overall I bought it for $35 and you can't expect top quality material for that price but I love knives of all sizes, shapes and material. This is a solid buy for the price
