If you are looking for a small, budget friendly, everyday carry this may be the one for you. The thumb studs are too sharp and can be somewhat uncomfortable, and the top flipper is a bit too stiff, I’m hoping this will break-in after some time. This thing is razor sharp out of the box, so sharp I cut myself working the flip action. The knife is light weight and small enough to tuck away in a pocket, even the change pocket on your pants. Also it is a very good size for women to EDC, it may fit well in their pockets and even on some tights/yoga pants. The Maileah is a go for $31.

Note the size of the blade and overall length. If you are expecting a “normal” sized pocketknife you will be disappointed. If you know the size you expect you will be thrilled. Sturdy blade with no play, smooth opener. Takes practice to do one-handed opening. Pocket clip is set deep and fits in that right hand little change pocket of your Levi jeans. I love the color of the handle, and the material is solid. Sharp out of the box. Very happy with this small pocketknife!

I’m always on the lookout for a better small folding knife to use hunting. Specifically, for field dressing whitetail deer. I’m not a fan of large, heavy fixed blades that require a sheath, or folders that exceed 7 or 8 inches long (open). I prefer a small, lightweight folder with a wide, non-serrated blade about 3 inches long (open).
I decided to try this knife, to see if I could reduce that size by a bit more. You can see it’s size in the pictures. It’s definitely on the “small” side. The knife seems well made, with quality materials. The blade is a sturdy-feeling thickness, with a nicely buffed finish. The tanto, drop tip blade penetrates well, but is not as easy to slice with as a curved, drop-tip. This knife is truly “razor sharp” out of the box. Be careful! The handle has a textured grip that is easy to hold. I found the blade a little hard to open with one hand, because the knife is so short (it’s hard to hold the handle and also catch the knob with your thumb). I like the red color (easy to see when you set it down (or drop it) in the environment. The clip is very strong, but I prefer knives without clips when working inside an animal (easier to clean up afterwards.). The clip is supposed to be removable, but I couldn’t get the tiny screws loose without stripping the heads.
My main criticism for using the knife for hunting is the length of its blade. It’s about an inch too short when trying to reach up into certain cavities, etc. when field dressing game. I needed to hold the knife handle between my fingers and thumb a couple times to get the extra extension needed. That’s not ideal for retaining control and avoiding a cut, especially if your working by feel inside a carcass.
Overall, it’s a very nice pocket knife, but a bit too short to be useful as a primary blade when hunting. I like mine a lot. I think it’s worth the price and recommend it as a daily carry option.

At a $35 price tag I was curious to see what this knife had to offer. This is probably top 3 cheapest (monetary value) I own and the smallest. I normally rock a paramilitary 2 spyderco which I love and tell it "I love you" before going to sleep. I have/had/lost a bunch of knives through the years and try to get something from each manufacturer instead of being a spyderco fan boy.

Out of the box first impressions:
-small
-lightweight
-nice color
-cool blade shape
- G10 handles aren't bad (not as slippery as most)

When I started playing with the knife I noticed it was a little stiff to open which is typical with a lot of knives. After an hour of flipping it open and closing it the action is a lot smoother but also noticed the lock bar is rather small and stiff as well. The size of the lock bar is understandable because it's a small knife and fat ham people usually buys bigger knives but it will loosen up over time. I could of spent time tuning it out of the box but I wanted to do a review of the product how it came to me.

You see how the knives sticks up past the pummel? I was confused about that at first then I realized it's to be used as "wave" deployment. If you pull it out of your pocket and drag it against the crease of your pocket, the jumping on that part catches and deploys the blade. I have another knife from cold steel that does the same thing. The pocket clip is stiff as well and have a little trouble getting it to clip on my jeans but once again, it will loosen up over time

The knife came pretty sharp out of the box but everyone has there definition of sharp. Not many people want hair shaving capabilities. I can't comment on the blade steel because I never heard of it but the finish on the blade is nice.

Overall I bought it for $35 and you can't expect top quality material for that price but I love knives of all sizes, shapes and material. This is a solid buy for the price

Needed something small, but durable and this fits the bill. It’s compact enough to fit in my upper pants pocket. Opens easy and quickly, very durable and now that I’ve got it really sharp, it’s a great tool!!

I will say first that I dislike trying to open it. It’s pretty stiff trying to open it one-handed. But I’ve had this for a while now and it’s a lot better. Still decently sharp for being a working knife. Very compact so it’s out of my way when trying to get into my pocket. It hasn’t come apart yet and I’m surprised. Overall it’s a great little knife. I’d buy again if I lost it.
