Bought it for my chest rig and it’s great! Easy to mount. The retention on the blade is pretty stiff so I used a flat head to pry it open a little bit and loosen the tension a bit and that worked well. I also found the handle to be a bit small for my hands so I was also able to wrap paracord around it to make the handle thicker which also benefits as you can never have too much paracord.

This is an awesome EDC fixed blade. It's easy to conceal, the blade length is quite short so if you live in a knife restrictive state like me this is totally legal, and it's comfortable to wear also cause the clip is adjustable. You could carry this anyway you want on your belt, or even carry it clipped to your boot. It's just a great knife. It came super sharp out of the box like all the SOG knives I've ever bought. And it's easy to resharpen. I highly recommend.

Everything about the quality and construction of the knife was great. Felt great in your hand, and a pretty sharp and decent quality metal for the blade. However, no matter if it was clipped to a pocket or thick belt, the knife would come off while still in the scabbard/sheath. The whole thing would come off with it. I simply couldn't get the knife to come out unless I used two hands(one to hold the sheath/scabbard in place while I drew the knife). They need to flatten and stiffen the clip, or what good is it. I really, really wanted to like this knife!
FYI...I had the identical experience w/ the KA-BAR Pocket Strike. Both went back to Amazon.
