Description This limited run Manix 2 is being upgraded in two big ways; a peel-ply carbon fiber handle and a CPM154/S90V composite blade. The same Manix 2 you know and love, but now with an improved blade steel and classy new handle. These are a new sprint run, direct from the Spyderco factory. The Blade: The blade of the Manix 2 is made from a composite steel consisting of a CPM-S90V core with CPM-154 outer layers. This results in longer lasting edge retention for the knife. Although it is a sprint run, it still retains its full flat grind and satin blade finish. The Handle: Skeletonized stainless steel liners form the solid frame of the Manix 2 with lightly textured peel-ply carbon fiber scale overlays. The carbon fiber scales provide a comfortable in hand feel while providing extra grip for wet or gloved hands. Caged ball bearing lock housed within offers solid blade lock-up with simple and ambidextrous disengagement. Reversible, polished stainless steel pocket clip affixed for tip-up carry. About Sprint Runs: Each year Spyderco releases a limited number of Sprint run knives, with a variation on an established model. These knives are produced in limited quantities (usually 600 or 1200 pieces) and are highly sought after by collectors.
