There are a lot of reviews saying solar panel doesn't work, can only charge phone a couple of times ect...
It's all about reading the specks and math.
Solar charging:
This device is small. It's length and width is smaller than my galaxy s22 and only slightly thicker. I can easily carry it in my pocket. Putting an led in line between the Solar panel and the battery to indicate current flow is a very basic circuit. If the led that indicates the Solar panel is charging is on, there is current flowing to the battery and it is charging. There are excellent explanations in the question section which do a great job of explaining the math and why it would take probably over a week to fully charge this device. One review I read said the device would not fully charge with Solar. I "capped off" my phone from about 50% battery to 85% which used about one "bar" or one of the indicator let's. I then put it outside in the South Florida sun, in direct sunlight to see if I could fully charge it with the Solar panel. It took 3 days. It finally got back to a full charge. Am I disappointed, NO, that's about what I would expect. If you wanted to fully charge your phone, then recharge using Solar, the Solar panel would have to produce the same watage over a few hours that you used to charge your phone. You can do this with one of the folding Solar panels Amazon sells. These panels are huge in comparison to the tiny panel on this unit. It's all math and physics. Hurricane Andrew back in the day, we were without power for a little over a week. Thus device would have charged my phone once or twice, then it would probably take a week to recharge. Not what this device was designed for.

Thus battery is small and easy to carry. If you are comparing power banks using the same technology, same type of battery, more capacity equals larger battery. Again math and physics. If the battery bank is about the same size as your phone, you are only going to get around 2 or 3 full charges with it. A power bank is basically all battery, so if the device is about the size of your phone the battery size inside is probably 2 or 3 times larger than the one in your phone. Thus expect 2 or 3 charges. Again math and physics. In an emergency situation, I would use this as a Solar flashlight. I have a larger power bank that is about the size of a lunchbox with a large folding Solar panel to charge it. Under perfect conditions I can recharge that device in about a day to day and a half. I recommend this device as long as you understand it's limitations. Remember it can fit in your pocket, It has wireless charging, and is inexpensive.
BTW, the compass is just a novelty. If you are putting yourself in a situation where you need a compass for navigation, carry a real compass.

A must have in my backpack
As a lover of electronics and love all kinds of high-tech products, I recently purchased a solar power bank, which has quickly become a must-have in my backpack.This power bank is versatile and features solar charging and USB charging. Plus, the power bank can be recharged via USB before you head out on a trip, ensuring it's fully charged and ready to go.One aspect of this power bank that sets it apart from others on the market is Its capacity is real， With a 10000mAh battery it has enough power to fully charge my smartphone multiple times which is a huge plus for me as I use my phone all day and it drains the battery so fast , so much so that I often found myself out of battery. With this charging treasure, you no longer have to worry about shutting down your phone when it runs out of power, and you don't have to worry about losing contact with your relatives and friends.Solar power banks are also very durable. Its rugged exterior can withstand harsh outdoor conditions, and it's also waterproof for an extra layer of protection in rainy days, so don't worry about it not working. I've accidentally dropped it a few times, but it doesn't show any cracks or signs of damage.Another feature of this power bank that I appreciate is its multiple charging ports and Supports Qi Wireless charging. Everything works fine. I haven’t done a full discharge of the device to see how many times it can charge my phone, which is the most likely use for it, but I can get creative!
The only disappointment in this device is the annoying LED flashlight! From holding the power button for 2 long seconds to turn on and off, to the awful tint of the LED Blavor decided to put in this thing. This is from 2018, so maybe the LED is an older LED lighting option that was the best that was available at the time, but man…this LED flashlight is terrible. I get it, it’s a power bank, and the flashlight is basically an afterthought, and some light is better than no light at all…but wow it’s bad! Not to mention, it’s not as bright as I thought it would be after seeing their photos of the light in action. I had modest expectations for the light anyway, but that’s just me.
I will show you photos of a more neutral looking LED flashlight from another cheap solar power bank in comparison to this Blavor model. It’s night and day. Also, I know people have different preferences for tints of LED lighting, but Blavor could have done muuuuch better. In the middle of the LED flashlight output, while looking at it on the wall for example, one can see a blue-ish Roman numeral two II, or a pause button, in the center. It’s probably how it’s designed, but it’s a pretty shoddy design and it would personally annoy me to no end if that was the only flashlight I had around.
Get this if you want a well-designed power bank that has a solar panel attached (for emergencies only) and you don’t mind the solar panel taking a looooong time to charge the power bank for any worthwhile extra amount of juice to charge your phone, etc. Don’t be surprised when it takes days and days…and more days of good sunlight exposure to fully charge this power bank by only sunlight. They sell solar banks with multiple solar panels attached for faster charging. Try those! Or just a portable, yet large enough solar panel that can unfold or something and has a couple USB outputs if you really want solar panel technology to work as well as you think it should.

Ok. There are a lot of these solar power banks out there, but I can see why this is a #1 seller in its category here on Amazon due to its physical size, battery capacity, USB-C port being both input & output (yay!), Qi wireless charging, and a flashlight…because, why not?! Also, the rubber bumpers on the side are pretty nice too for drop protection.Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2021
