We have a chicken coop and needed a way to keep watch on pestering animals hunting our flock (foxes, cats, raccoons, etc.). I don’t have a lot of experience with using different trail cameras but this one was overall easy to set up and get going. The picture quality is good and the instructions are pretty user friendly. It does require a micro SD card that needs to be purchased separately (as well as 8 AA batteries). Overall though, I think this camera was a good price and I’m happy with it so far. Hope that helps!

I've been attracting hummingbirds to my garden for many years. But trying to get photos of the small fast moving birds has been a real challenge. I saw these trial cameras advertised and thought I'd see if I could get good photos of my favorite garden visitors. I got lucky on my very first day but as you can see from my photos I need to do some adjusting and refining. I not only got my very first hummingbird photo but I also caught a delivery guy leaving a package on my porch. I was so worried that setting this camera up would be very complicated. Instead I found it to be a snap. I set it up the first time without even looking athe durections. If I can set it up this trail camera anyone can!

Bought this to monitor wildlife at the back of our property. Didn’t expect so much from a <$40 camera.

Plenty of options on photo, video, length, resolution, schedule, etc.

Seems to pickup even small critters like squirrels and rabbits even at night. Good color during daylight hours. Am on the original (eight) AA batteries after two months and still showing three of three bars on power.

No issues with weather (wind, rain, snow, cold) so the seal around the front cover is good and tight. Secured by two strong clips.

Slight drawback is the microSD card is a bit difficult to get in/out of the unit so I have to unmount it to recover the card. But that is a small gripe.

At 10sec, 1080p video clips I have yet to fill a 32gb memory card leaving the unit for two weeks.

This camera fits my needs.

Nice small camera with lots of features. The only real issue I found was that it worked fine in daylight, but after dark the videos became shorter and shorter, eventually cutting down to as short as three seconds instead of the 30 seconds I set it for. Pictures were reasonably good quality, as were videos during daylight hours. Unfortunately, I decided to return this unit in favor of a different camera that could handle the darkness much better.

The other camera was taking nice pictures and nice videos. Well, after 2 card pulls, this started to occur (see video for reference.)
No, it’s not due to the SD card. This issue started occurring after the first 10 videos. Not the computer either since I have multiple other cameras and I check all the SD cards on the same computer.
This is an issue with the camera. Super unfortunate because they are super affordable and actually have great quality pictures and videos.

Update: previously bought 2 of these cameras. As stated, Chinese manufactured in which private sellers can purchase and resell under different “company” names. You see all these similar posts on Amazon. No big deal because the price is great.

I use these cameras for hunting purposes. The spot I hunt is 3 hours from my home. That being said, the intel is super important.

Out of the two cameras I bought, one worked perfect. Great clear pictures (haven’t tried video), no false pictures, etc.

However, the other camera (set up exactly like the first) took pictures every since second of every single day for 3 days straight before draining the batteries. It about filled up my 32GB SD card. I’ve read on other trail camera reviews that this has happened. I swapped out batteries, changed a few settings, and put it back out in the field. If this reoccurs, I’ll be returning the malfunctioning one (in hopes of a new one from the seller) and keeping the working one.

Hope this helps everyone out! For now, it’ll review a single star simply because if I had only bought 1 camera, I would declare it as a waste of money. If the seller replaces it, then customer service will influence the rating.

The SIM card presented below product information as “add all 3 to list” tab has WRONG SIM card. Got my package today and received exactly what was displayed. SIM card Too large for opening. The camera manual states the correct SIM card as “class 10 TF (microSD) card with FAT/FAT32. Support up to 32G Max.” Very frustrating as I went to “customer service chat” and explained misinformation on product. They apologized, said they would reorder per the Manual. BUT when I checked what was (re)ordered It was once again the same incorrect SIM card. Order sim per manual specs listed above and avoid the hassle of returning. Gave it a 5 star only to be fair to camera vendor until I get correct SIM card.

Overall the camera features are excellent. Similar config menu to most game cameras. This one has an option for motion sensitivity and a setting that allows you to say it is a security instead of a game camera. That is really helpful. Picture quality is excellent. I had two minor complaints. First the Amazon "Frequently Bought Together" tab shows full size SD cards. This camera requires a micro SD card and can do up to 32 GB. Second in the security config, when a vehicle or animal is moving quickly, it gets blurred in the picture. However, for the price, these options are acceptable.
