This is a high value blade for your dollar. As most know, this is made under license for Spyderco. It's made in China, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. If the quality/QC is there, I'm not exactly biased about where something comes from. Credit where credit is due and all.A 3.75" overall length blade with a decent choil, and jimping along the back of the scales, and on the spine hump. Blade is made out of 8Cr13MoV steel, which I have noticed on other knife reviews gets compared to AUS8 often. It came sharp enough out of the box to pop hairs off my arm. Not a bad factory edge. Flat ground blade. Blade cutting edge is 3.5", which could be a big deal depending on where you live. Pocket clip isn't tacticool... but it works, and works well. It can be mounted in 4 ways. The FRN (fiberglass reinforced nylon) handle is very grippy, and surprisingly lightweight. The Byrd eye-hole allows a solid purchase, and fast opening action. There are minor, let me say that again: minor, imperfections. Light grind marks still visible, one of the jimp lines on the hump not perfectly straight, a little lopsided-ness in the indent on the locking mechanism. None of these detract from the knife's utility or usability. It's $20. I've seen garbage sell for more money. What you get here is a lightweight, decent quality knife that is a close approximation of more expensive models at a price that anyone should be able to afford. It's not a whiz-bang, high-tech knife, just a good solid folder that won't let you down. There is more value in that than there is in cool factor. I regret not buying a second one at the time I ordered the first: that's how much I like this knife.

It's small. It's rather small. It's very small. It's extremely small. It's really, really, really fairly kind of small.
